I should have gone to Rendezvous or the Bulldog, Natalia. If it's too cold to sit on the balcony of The Balcony it's not worth sitting at The Balcony. Though I did watch a portion of Terminator 2 for the first time in 10 years.

And email heading your way, Joey, thanks for wandering by.

Hey, Dave. Long time no see/hear. Just stumbled across your profile by following a list of 'saps people I knew on myspace. I still don't have a myspace page, but I keep getting links so maybe I should break down and get one...

How long have you been in Baton Rouge and what do you do here? I've been living in BR for a few years now. I'm in my final year of law school at LSU, so I've been living in a cave for a good portion of that time. I'm not sure what exactly I'll wind up doing with a law degree, but I guess I'll figure something out.

Drop me an e-mail and we can go grab a beer or whatever.

As you stroll down Magazine, stop in at Belladonna and find my sister and give her a hug for me. Then wander to the Rendezvous instead of the Balcony. And have fun. Woohoo!

I too am a Saints fan first, Packers fan second. But those are about the only two teams I really pay attention to.

Yeah, I even went outside and tried to see the eclipse. Not much to see here in BR. I think it's really random and funny that you went to a bird discussion, but I bet it was very interesting! There's a show at BR Gallery on Wednesday- Leanne McClurg who taught me ceramics, Kelli Scott Kelley, and Katherine Scherer. Should be good stuff--nat

I'm certainly interested in more wandering across the landscape of post Southern-Rock, especially since there seems to be a strong nod to the Southern Gothic, at least in the few albums I'm willing to hang the moniker on at this point. Further investigation is certainly warranted.

Alas Sweet Tooth has decided on more narrow criteria for the next issue (perhaps a response to my threat of a 'Why Football is Art' article, which I was actually going to present as an 'apology'). Maybe the summer issue will allow me to head that direction, though.

Hey man! Excellent to see you out as always. Am intrigued by the whole notion of "post-southern rock" and would like to see you tease it out in long-form -- maybe for Sweet Tooth?
